Eastern Industrial Gases (EIG), a joint venture between Air Liquide and BOC, will double oxygen capacity at Laem Chabang, Thailand by building an air separation unit, Air Liquide says. The project follows signing of a $30-million, 15-year contract under which EIG will supply 10,000 cu meters/day of oxygen to the glass manufacturing plant of Siam Asahi Technoglass at Laem Chabang, starting later this month.
